Xiaolin Chen
I am currently a PhD student, in writing-up stage, with the Centre for Communication Research (CCR) in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Bristol.
My supervisors are Prof. Nishan Canagarajah and Dr. Jose L. Nunez-Yanez.
I was also a visiting student in the Laboratory for Perception, Action and Cognition in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the Pennsylvania State University. My advisor is Dr. Yanxi Liu.

My research interests: signal processing, image/video processing/compression, computer vision, statistical modeling, machine learning, information theory and FPGA design, reconfiguration.
